Petroleum Refining Catalysts

-FCC catalysts
FCC (Fluid Catalytic Cracking) catalyst is used at petroleum refineries for cracking heavy distillates to light distillates such as gasoline, kerosene, diesel and LPG.

-Alkylation catalysts
Alkylation catalysts produce alkylate that it is a favorable blending component in the gasoline pool because it contains no olefins or aromatic compounds, has a low sulfur content, a limited heavy end, and relatively high research and motor octane numbers.

-Catalytic Reforming catalyst
Catalytic reforming is a chemical process used to convert petroleum refinery naphthas, typically having low octane ratings, into high-octane liquid products called reformates which are components of high-octane gasoline (also known as high-octane petrol).

-Hydrodesulphurization catalysts
Hydrodesulphurization (HDS) catalysts or Hydro Treating Catalysts are used in petroleum refining process. Due to not only environmental requirements but also the circumstances surrounding the oil business, multifaceted performance is required of HDS.
These catalysts give optimized solutions to refineries to produce Sulfur-Free-Gasoline and Diesel, Fuel Oil and FCC Feed Oil.

-Isomerization catalysts
In chemistry isomerization is the process by which one molecule is transformed into another molecule which has exactly the same atoms, but the atoms have a different arrangement. In some molecules and under some conditions, isomerization occurs spontaneously. When the isomerization occurs intramolecularly it is considered a rearrangement reaction.
